I been trying to connect the duo-disk db25 connector to the db19 connector on the diskport of the gs. So far, I got the power to work, and the drive A boots up but do not read data. Here is the list of the pinouts I figured out so far, if anyone konw the rest, email me or just followup the rest of the pinouts. DB19 DISK PORT DB25 DUODISK 1,2,3 GND 2,4,9,10 4 3.5 Disk No Connection 5 -12V 23 6 +5V 7,24 7,8 +12V 19,20 9 Drive 2 Enable 8 10 Write Protect ????? 11 Phase 0 or A 17 or 18, not sure 12 Phase 1 or B 16, not sure 13 Phase 2 or C 15, not sure 14 Phase 3 or D (Make red led light up if connected to 14, not sure) 15 Write Request ????? 16 Head Select No Connection Necessary 17 Drive 1 Enable 11 18 Read 3, not sure 19 Write ????? Pin number 1,13,25 are not connected to any of the circuit of the logic board on the Duo-Disk Drive. Please correct me if I am wrong. I sure the power supply pin's are right, but I am not sure about the connection of the four phase and read pin's. Please correct it if you know the answer. I hope this is not too much to ask, but if you already have a db19 to db25 cable, maybe you can use an ohm meter (Continuous test) to figure out the pinouts from the db19 port to the db25 port. If you can do this, email me the correct pinouts and I personally reward you something for it. Thanks to all!! -Brian email me at student.msu.edu k
