If it isn't shown, it isn't open. You can also see open resource file seperately, though they are shown by \files. Typing r shows resource files opened under the "current resource application". Typing \res shows some stuff, including a list of all "resource application" along the left. Type idr, where id is a resource application id to see that application's open resource files. Finder's id will start with a 1. You can type _CloseResourceFile(resFileID) to close a resource file. The r command shows resource file id's and you must have the correct resource application current. This is all simple if you know about the Resource Manager, else I'm sure it is very cryptic.
