Gravity is a force that pulls things down. Scientists say that the reason things are pulled down on Earth is that it is the core of the Earth that is causeing the gravity. Space gravity is less dence it doesn't have a strong pull you will be as light as a feather floating around in space. When on the moon; as far as I know, you can leap 12ft. more or less, into the air, cause the gravity is so low. A comet as said in the other card travels in a large or Semi-large circle, and has a slim chance of hiting the earth. An asteriod is much smaller, so if there ever was a time that a comet would hit the earth the impact of an asteriodwould be so much smaller. The impact of a comet could desroy the whole world, on the other hand the asteriod will only conquire over a large city and the debre would probably cape for miles, but leaving other parts of the earth in living. There was a recent movie on the television that had to do with asteriods, what a surprise the movie was titled "ASTERIOD" WOW!!! It was great, very interesting. It can be explained in many different views, the asteriod was unexpected, it was a two part movie that just added up the suspence I couldn't stand to wait for it to show the next day. I won't explain it but you deserve to see it if you haven't. ; I think, was in New Mexico and sent her son to stay with her Grampa in Texas, where she thought that the asteriod wouldn't hit cause it was aimed toward another area. they blew the asteriod to pieces so the asteriod did hit Texas.
