Because of the large number of folks who do NOT want to copy files (letting the new file replace the old), or appy a Patch (AppleSoft BASIC, Block Warden, or Bev's Free Patcher), we are now taking the "...Just hand me the finished product so I can GO !" approach. All they do is mail a backup copy to TEXAS II, and we'll update it for them. They'll have it back in about 1-2 weeks, updated and ready to go in plenty of time for the Year 2000. This is a little more work for me, but I think that many users are more comfortable having someone else do it rather than trying to fix it themselves from files that I send them. If they prefer, they can still get TEXAS II newsletters and Disks which contain ALL the Year 2000 fixes. We expect that ProSel users and AppleWorks 5 users (but not AppleWorks 1.x-3.0 users) would take this route. Please visit my web site at http://members.aol.com/A2MG for complete Year 2000 info. We have recently added Managing Your Money to the chart, and hope to add Quicken real soon. I have also added some other information. When we answer the phone, we say "Kingwood." That is the name of my company, and they need not be perturbed. Chances are about 98% that they'll get me..... ;-) Thank you for your support, Beverly Cadieux http://members.aol.com/A2MG
