Apple II Programs and the Year 2000

Apple User Group leaders should be aware that the following Apple II  software
for the Apple //e, //c, and IIGS has been updated for the Year 2000. Complete

The following Y2K updates are available now. Use our updated (replacement)
files, patch them yourself, or mail us a disk, and we'll fix it for you. Do

To user groups following the Y2K scene, we have changed the way we are
distributing Y2K updates. 

Because of the large number of folks who do NOT want to copy files (letting the
new file replace the old), or appy a Patch (AppleSoft BASIC, Block Warden, or
Bev's Free Patcher), we are now taking the 

   "...Just hand me the finished product so I can GO !" 	

approach. 

All they do is mail a backup copy to TEXAS II, and we'll update it for them.
They'll have it back in about 1-2 weeks, updated and ready to go in plenty of
time for the Year 2000. This is a little more work for me, but I think that
many users are more comfortable having someone else do it rather than trying to
fix it themselves from files that I send them.

If they prefer, they can still get TEXAS II newsletters and Disks which contain
ALL the Year 2000 fixes. We expect that ProSel users and AppleWorks 5 users
(but not AppleWorks 1.x-3.0 users) would take this route.

When we answer the phone, we say "Kingwood." That is the name of my company,
