Announcing the World Wide Web page for the Treasure Chest Project at URL -> http://www.tals.dis.qut.edu.au/staff/willie The Treasure Chest Project is a list of software reclassifications from the once Commercially published titles to Freeware/Shareware status. As this project is relatively still infancy stages, much input will be gladly appreciated from the general comp.sys.apple2 community. I have also been in contact with the Lost Classics Project co-ordinator on Genie's Apple II Roundtable and he gave his blessings and support on this project. We will be complementing each other on these efforts. YOU CAN PLAY A PART in this effort. Contributions are welcomed by all of the comp.sys.apple2 community, Treasure Chest Project is for you, made on behalf of the general benefits of the Apple II Community at large. I am also helping to contribute the reclassification efforts by trying to get into contact with Strategic Studies Group to see if they are willing to reclassify : Halls of Montezuma, Carriers at War, Europe Ablaze (just to name a few !). I'd LOVE to see someone getting on to Strategic Simulations Inc. for North Atlantic '86, Questron I & II, Phantasie I, II & III, AD&D ?? -------------------------------------------------------------------------- -> This is NOT a post made by Charles T. Turley. Treasure Chest Project is not affliated in any way with Charles T. Turley / 1WSW in anyway. This is purely a project motivated by the Lost Classics Project on Genie brought into comp.sys.apple2, comp.emulators.apple2 and my love for the Apple II.
