Delete all files in the AppleWin directory that start with "Vid" or "Video", EXCEPT those contained in AppleWin_1_10.zip (Vid108c.dat, Vid108m.dat, Vid401c.dat, Vid401m.dat) 2. Put AppleWin.exe (patch2.zip version) in the AppleWin directory and run it. (This will generate 2 "Vid*.dat" files.) 3. Replace AppleWin.exe (patch2.zip version) in the AppleWin directory with AppleWin.exe (version 1.10) and run it. (This will generate a third "Vid*.dat" file.) 4. Replace AppleWin.exe (version 1.10) in the AppleWin directory with the desired version (version 1.40, in my case) and run it. Voila'! Now, it will work! Alan "A.J."
