The Velvet Jones Font Series

   Font: Charcoal
Foundry: Apple, probably
  Style: Sans Serif / Body
Opinion: Gothic yet with a hint of Chicago, looks great at any size.
         Full set, so can be used with any menu-bar font changer.

When Apple released MacOS 8 they switched the system font from Chicago
to this.
