Hi:
Some time ago I asked whether there is a pdf-reader for the
Apple2. Well, there isnt, BUT there is an email address which
translates   http://www....pdf files to text files.
So, send message in body
 
     http://www....pdf
 
to
 
  pdf2txt@sun.trace.wisc.edu
 
and the translated file will be in your mail box.

You can run and view pdf-files  from a website with an Apple//
by sending email to
pdf2txt@sun.trace.wisc.edu
or to
pdf2txt@adobe.com
and putting in the message body the URL
http://www.....pdf
You get the file back in text format which you can read then with
any text viewer like appleworks.
