Below is my configuration, and the Stored Profile 0 is what the modem uses when I turn it on. The Active Profile is what the modem is set to after Proterm 3.1 is loaded. I'm using the SupraFaxModem V32bis (RTS/CTS) driver with the default INIT string. I'm also using the HWHS cable that came with the modem (it was the Macintosh Package). Now, here's the problem. The default INIT string for the driver is: ATX4&K3W1S11=65S36=5 Notice that &D0 went to &D2. This controls how the modem responds to the DTR. &D2 means upon and ON to OFF transition of the DTR, the modem disconnects and returns to the command state. Now this seems like it should be ok, becuase ProTerm uses this to hang up the modem right? Well, with it set this way, if I use the Pause mode (command-Spacebar) the modem disconnects. Also if I stop a ZMODEM transfer it also disconnects. If I set &D0 (ignore DTR) then the modem works correctly with the pause mode and stopping ZMODEM transfers. Do I need to set a value in an S reg that determines the sensitivity to the DTR?
