hard disk, you probably created a folder or filename in

:To gain some free space on your system disk, you can delete

Directory).  GS/OS will not find BASIC.SYSTEM!

First, duplicate the file "P8" in the */system directory,
calling it P7.  Then, rename the file Prosel.system in the
root directory to Prosel.systen.  After that, follow the
file P7 with a block editor, and change the .SYSTEM to
Block.Warden!!!) on the 34 block of P7.  Finally, follow the
file ProDOS on your boot directory, and change the reference
to "P8" to "P7".
 
 
Now, when you boot with the <8> key pressed, you will be

more than two partitions active, whenever you try to run a
ProDOS 8 program, the last two will not run or be
recognized.  The culprit is ProDOS 8 v2.0.x.  This version
automatically remaps partitions, causing a conflict.  You
can turn this feature off by changing the opcode A5 in the
sequence 10 BF C9 A5 D0 07 to 00 (Block $04 byte $1A3).
From BASIC.SYSTEM, you could make the same change by typing:
1) PREFIX /(any hard disk name)/system  2)  BLOAD
P8,A$2000,TSYS  3) POKE 10659,0  4) BSAVE P8,A$2000,TSYS.
This should solve the problem.  Or, you can upgrade your ROM
for $20 from CVTech.

allows you to select the resolution of the monitor.
 
:Most of the hints listed in the Apple IIGS for the Finder
