Is it something > that's going to be fixed in a new release? > -- > Randy Shackelford "That's right, just keep tap dancing > rgshacke@wsuhub.uc.twsu.edu on the minefield" - Al Bundy This happens in ProTERM 3.0 as well, and I don't know if it's the fault of the 8-bit apps or the Desk Manager, but: The Desk Manager is saving a slot 4 screen hole as the "current mouse mode" when you enter the CDA menu, and P8 programs which use the mouse tend to leave a non-zero value in that byte, so it makes the Desk Manager think the mouse wasn't turned on when it "restores" it on leaving the CDA menu. Geek workaround: Enter GSBug and type "N" to enter Nifty List without going through the CDA menu. Type "_SetMouse(3)" and exit to GSBug. Type "0/7FC:0" to zero the bad screen hole. User workaround: Jay Krell wrote an Init that does this in a much more safe fashion, but no promises it works if you're actually using a mouse _card_.
