You will need a DB09F to MDO8M cable (item #C NS 11255) which you can get from Quality Computers (800-777-3624). This connects either your COM1 or COM2 serial port to the ImageWriter. You don't need to use the parallel port. Add the following 2 statements to your AUTOEXEC.BAT file: MODE COMx:96,N,8,1,P MODE LPT1:=COMx (where "x" is COM1 or COM2) This setup will give you full control over the printer from both DOS and Windows. I use it with SuperWorks which is a DOS program and Write which is the Windows WP program.
