What is MultiGS?=; MultiGS is a program that allows an Apple IIgs to run <:up to seven other programs at the same time. One program 97(MultiGS or a loaded program) has control of input and =;receives most of the computer's time while the rest of the ;9programs run in the background, waiting to be selected. ?=MultiGS allows the user to switch between programs. MultiGS 86also catches many errors which sometimes occur in the ?=programs it is running. Without these routines, most errors <:would cause the system to crash and all data not saved in 97other programs would be lost. Errors still occur that <:MultiGS cannot handle and therefore you should save often ?=(more often that you normally do with one program running). ;9It is also best to make sure that when launching another ;9program (especially if you are not sure if it works with (MultiGS), you save all important data.>< MultiGS is a complex program and you are encouraged to >< When a program quits back to MultiGS, it may designate ><8-bit program, the Finder will quit.
