The white-encased UNIDISK 3.5 drive is the most sought-after Apple II
drive, because it adds 3.5" disk capability to the enhanced IIc or IIe.
Last year, I swapped a mint-condition Unidisk 3.5 drive for a working Mac
SE!

If your Unidisk 3.5 drive is dead --- send it to me!  I can repair it with
an estimated 75% chance of success.

replacing of dead Sony internal mechanism: $15 plus return shipping 
    (Just $5 if you supply a working mechanism)


Shipping of the drive to USA addresses is estimated at $5.00.

Socketing of 65C02 processor on internal analog board: $5 ($3 if you
supply a working 65C02)  NOTE:  If I socket the chip, the drive will need
to be held together with duct tape or equivalent because I will need to
hack away the lower part of the internal metal shroud to make height-room
for the socketed 65C02.  I've done the fixing twice, both successfully.

I estimate the chance of success at 75% because there are two proprietary
Apple chips on that analog board that I cant replace if blown.
