Use Archiver that is on System 6 tools 1 disk.  It is much better than Backup
II and even prosel's backup program.

Archiver will backup to 5.25's, 3.5's, and even DC2000 tapes with a 3M MDC 40
tape drive.  32 megs to a single tape takes about 30 minutes, with no disk 
swapping.
