I've been involved with Apple II computers, controlling machines starting back in 1977 (tape drives)... and the bigest headache by far is the boot.... When the guy walkes into his shop on monday morning and the disk drive is turning 'cause he had a power failure and the disk did not boot.... that is when the ROM drive would have been great... I've run into this problem on machines that have made that have an apple as an imbedded controller. I started to use the apples 'cause they had graphics, when early PLC's could only blink lites or ring bells.... Please keep us posted on the progress of the drive....... Im new to the group.. did the original ROM drive boot DOS 3.3? CAP
