The lab runs off a Quadra 610 AppleTalk server. Sounds like a neat idea; I have something that, with help, would fit the bill out even better. It is a free email simulation; kids get a password, log-on and get send and receive messages. There is even a sysop function so you can monitor messages. However, it is a basic progam made to work on a single station, and needs some proramming fixes to work on a hard drive. I invite anyone with programming skills to take a look and see if the fixes could be easily done. Programmers, please grab the file ftp://ftp.crl.com/users/co/cornelio/a2/kidmail.shk and let us know what can be done! thanks! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- - Louis Cornelio check out our classroom Apple II webpage! http://www.n2.net/clairemont/
