It's not too hard to undo it by hand, if you have a decent text editor. An AAF file consists of three kinds of lines: 1. Lines that begin with "=". The remainder of the line contains a file name. The data lines that follow should be put into the named file. 2. Lines that begin with "-". The remainder of the line contains data for the most-recently-named file. The leading "-" should be stripped off, and whatever's left goes into the file. 3. Lines that begin with "+". This indicates the end of the archive. Any line that doesn't begin with one of those three characters is not part of the archive, and should be ignored. - Neil Parker P.S. I have a version of the source code in shar format...I could send it to you if you'd prefer not to fight with the AAF format. -- Neil Parker No cute ASCII art...no cute quote...no cute nparker@cie.uoregon.edu disclaimer...no deposit, no return... parker@corona.uoregon.edu (This space intentionally left blank: )
