Real handy that way. Is that what that header is for? I suppose it makes sense from Apple's point of view, where everyone who owns a GS must also have a Mac. What do the floppies then contain, though? It would seem they'd just have the .bxy files after all that. Little seems to be gained. In any event, for what I hope is the last time, it's trivial to remove the headers from the .bxy files and use them on the GS. The header is 512 bytes long, and can be removed with various GS or //e tools. Better, if you used a Unix box to FTP the files, use dd before downloading them. Baroque, but it works. dd if="GSOS (Disk 1 of 6)" of=gsos.d1.bxy skip=1 bs=512 The "bs=512" is probably optional, depending on what the default blocksize is for your implementation of dd. >And finally, there are IIgs programs to do unbinhexing and to convert Disk >Copy image files.
