RamFAST and Apple HS cards use the same partition scheme which is the same scheme that Macs use. It is the CMS card that uses a different scheme. >2. This is the power to drive the terminators. If you have a hard disk on the HS GS and it is working, then it is suppling term power. Zip disks are completely compatible between the two SCSI cards. You can boot from either. However, only the RamFAST can boot from a bootable partition OTHER than the first partition on the Zip disk. The Apple card can only boot from the first partition.
