I think 1996 was the last time it happened. It is actually the ThunderClock driver which has a problem and must be patched every five or six years. (This is due to the ThunderClock not returning a year, and ProDOS having to look up the year from a table, derived from the day of the week. Taking leap years into account, it only takes five or six years to run out of entries in this table.)
