Put the card into a IIGS slot, plug in the ribbon cable, and take the cable and put the fingerprint button outside the IIGS case (probably near the front panel, the sloped section). Now whenever you see a IIGS program screen with a nice graphic, just hit the fingerprint button to print or save the image. No additional software needed. The software is in ROM. Unless you had spare IIGS units, I'd somehow make sure the card would not mess up the IIGS first. Unfortunately, I don't know how to test the card. By the way, how is the old IIGS non-functioning? Some IIGS units fell victim to the BlackOut virus and appear non-functioning when all that's happened is that their control panels have been messed up with text, border, and background all set to black and startup slot set to ramdisk. Thus, the monitors never seem to display anything and the IIGS only makes a "bonk" sound when trying to start.
