You know, I've been around here since before csa2.marketplace even existed, and I've *never* seen so many Apple II's and accessories changing hands as I have on any given day on eBay. Far from "ruining" the trade, I think eBay has rejuvenated it. I wonder how many good Apple II systems have been brought out of the closet or saved from the dumpster because the owners discovered that they might be able to get enough money for them to make it worthwhile. I wonder how much longer it will be before some enterprising person realizes that they can make real money by manufacturing a new Apple II accelerator or SCSI card vs. yet another $39.99 PCI card. Horsetrading is alive and well online. See http://www.horsetrader.com/ :-) -- John E. Townsend Sr. Software Engineer "Machines should work; LEXIS-NEXIS people should think."
