I have the cassette tapes that came with the unit (Star > Wars/Star Trek, Breakout, etc.) But what I need is a cassette tape > player/recorder that will work with the Apple II. Although the cassette recorder that I use with my ][ (on rare occassion for nostalgia purposes) is from the early to mid 1980's era, I'll tell you what make/brand it is anyways, as it seems to work flawlessly with the cassette input/output ports on the ][/][+/IIe computers. It's a Tandy/Radio Shack CCR-81 Computer Cassette Recorder deck (white with black trim in appearance). Due to it's color finish (mostly white), Tandy no doubt marketed it for use with the Tandy/Radio Shack Color Computer 2 and Color Computer 3 systems, although the hookup cable they included with it could have been used to hook it up to any of the Radio Shack brand computer systems from those 8 bit days which used a Cass In/Out port (ie. the grey Color Computer 1, the grey TRS-80 Model 1, Model III, and the white Model IV systems, etc.). None the less, it has the standard EARphone, AUXillary, mini-REMote, and MICrophone jacks on it, so using standard mono hook up cables, it can be plugged into and ][, ][+, or //e computer. -----= Posted via Newsfeeds.Com, Uncensored Usenet News =----- http://www.newsfeeds.com - The #1 Newsgroup Service in the World! -----== Over 80,000 Newsgroups - 16 Different Servers! =-----
