RC Systems has been very friendly, but they still price their Apple II hardware and software at their original prices! Hardly the position for someone likely to go straight to freeware, but perhaps they'd try the shareware route. After all, it would get the software out there and it's really not any good without the hardware to make it work. The postings by bobryan9@my-deja.com are interesting! I didn't know that the Echo could do that from within AppleWorks. Please tell us more! BTW, the Echo DOES work in slot#3! I know the manual says that it doesn't, but it does, beautifully, and what a great use for slot#3! Jay Edwards
