Unfortunately, I can't prove you are wrong. As a programmer, I know that many people don't want to pay the shareware fees. I remember the few PC ventures I had that flopped. After awhile, you tend to give up on it. Now I program for my own needs and if I think it's worth the trouble, I send it out to the world for others to use. BTW, I may not delete the archive, but I always delete the running copy if I don't decide the program is worth it. The only reason to keep the archive, others may be able to make use of it. I try to recommend your programs to others, even if I don't use them myself. Now I lean toward the GNU method. I guess Linux has spoiled me. It's great how that community works together and produces some exceptional software. With this in mind, any Apple II software I release will most likely be freeware. I can only hope the Apple II community can come together in a more hospitable manner. As always, this is just my opinion. -- Thank you for your time and interest.
